Cultural life in Leverkusen is extraordinary in more than one respect: during every match there are two cultural programmes hosted by the KulturStadtLev and the Bayer Cultural Affairs Division.

Guest theatre and concert ensembles, as well as soloists of international repute provide an interesting alternative to the permanent theatre productions of neighbouring cities.

For over two decades the internationally renowned Leverkusen Jazz Days have been attracting thousands of guests to the city every year. The Morsbroich Museum houses a collection of modern art that is unsurpassed by any other. Leverkusen is also home to countless associations of active musicians, painters, sculptors and actors - more often than not of an astonishingly high standard.
